Weight Management Programs

Dietary Counseling

Judy Mitnick, our registered dietician makes dietary and lifestyle analyses and develops personalized plans for weight management.

Under the direction of the Dr. Lisa Harris, Judy will create an individualized dietary and lifestyle plan to help you reach your weight loss goals. Some of the nutritional treatment options we offer include:

  • Reduced calorie programs
  • Diabetic weight loss plans
  • Rapid weight loss modified fasts
  • Low-fat/low-cholesterol/low-sodium plans

Once you achieve your desired goals, a personal eating and lifestyle plan will help you maintain your weight loss.

Lifestyle Education

It takes more than counting calories to maintain a healthy weight. Overeating is often a reaction to increased stress, old habits or emotions. Identifying these triggers and learning how to manage your food intake as it relates to them is critical for long-term success. Our staff will teach you ways to understand why you eat as you do and give you tools to better control your eating habits.

Other weight loss programs include:

The OPTIFAST® Program
Prescription and Non-Prescription Medications

Hypnosis is a natural, relaxed state of suggestibility and heightened awareness that allows people to focus powers of the subconscious mind on problems they wish to address. A program designed to meet your specific needs can help modify behaviors, eliminate cravings and relieve anxiety so you can achieve your goals. The Clinical Hypnotherapist is only a guide. You are always in control, because hypnosis is something you do for yourself.

For patients who respond well to hypnosis, this ancient treatment is effective in encouraging behavioral changes that result in improved weight management.
